“He who looks at himself, risks to meet himself. This is the first test of courage on the inner path, a test, which is enough to frighten most people, because the encounter with oneself belongs to those unpleasant things, one avoids as long as one can project the negative onto the environment.”
~ Carl Jung
MY APPROACH
My therapy style is exploratory, conversational, engaged, and intuitive. It is rooted in inquiry, curiosity, and trust in our natural capacity to thrive.
I believe that healing & change happen spontaneously when safety, acceptance, and compassion are present. With that mind, my intention is to create a space that will foster a deeper connection to yourself, leading towards higher self-awareness, insight, authentic choices, and personal freedom. Therapy is not a quick fix. It's a dynamic, engaging, and collaborative process towards deeper understanding of yourself, unlearning of self-defeating patterns, connecting to self-acceptance, and experiencing freedom to be your real self. I utilize a combination of the following theoretical approaches: person-centered, existential, and psychodynamic. If you're ready to look at the possibilities and honor your authentic self, reach out today! |
